The marquise sits in a V-set mount that holds just the two points, leaving the stone completely open. Elongated, and a little unexpected, it's never been the obvious choice, which is exactly why I designed it. Though I wear mine solo, it also works on a layered look, whichever way you wear it, this piece will definitely be the focal point, (and that's the point.)
